Our Staff
The Player's Dugout has assembled the Best baseball and softball coaching staff available. Our staff has over 100 years of successful coaching and teaching experience at all age levels.
Our experienced staff will help players to reach their full potential and meet their individual goals. Our coaches will keep written reports after each lesson so that the athlete's progress will be recorded. the Player's Dugout believes the coaching staff will determine the success of our business, and we have assembled the Best staff available.
2009 Player's Dugout Instructors
Joe Newton
Currently in his 10th year as the owner of the Players' Dugout. Coach Newton spent fifteen years as a head high school baseball coach. As well as four years as head coach of four straight A.A.U. champions.
Jason Abell
Currently in his 9th year with The Player's Dugout. Jason is one of our the Players's Dugout select coaches, and has contunued to provide instruction and help with camps.

Currenlty in her 4th year with The Players' Dugout. Stephanie played at Eastern Kentucky University.Coming Soon! Mark Galvin
Currently in his 5th year at the Players’ Dugout. Mark was a graduate from E-Town High School. Mark attended and graduated from the University of Kentucky where he pitched for the Wildcats for four years.Coming Soon! David Hughes
Currently in his 5th year at the Players’ Dugout. David was a graduate from E-Town High School. David attended Morehead State University where he was a two year starter. David played his last two years at Indiana University where he graduated.Coming Soon! Myong Kim
This is his 4th year as an instructor at the Player’s Dugout. Played baseball and graduated from North Hardin High School. Played college baseball at NCAA Division III Maryville College in Maryville, Tennessee. Currently coaches at North Hardin as an assistant coach.
